Cycling, whether it is outdoors or on an exercise bike at home or in the gym, is one of the most effective ways of exercising and toning you bum. If you have plenty of energy and stamina, you may want to take your exercise regime to the next level and join a spinning class.
Spinning is a particular way of working out on an exercise bike that involves following a set program of movements while cycling. You will be put through an intense regime that involves changing the way you are sitting on the exercise bike, so that you might go from sitting on the seat to standing on the pedals, and combining various other movements with cycling. You might be asked by the instructor to perform a sort of push up against the handlebars while continuing to pedal, for example. The spinning session will also involve changing the settings on the exercise bike, so that you vary the resistance in order to make yourself work harder for short periods.
